l have heard that the jimny is not good on terra-firma, but has anyone got one and if so what do you think of yours?, The Terios is bigger but not sure of that one either?, help!

jimny is a piece of crud!
got one cos it looked nice.big mistake.
its like driving a tiny car with big wheels.

If you've never been in a Jimny & u do not know what to expect, l suggest u go & try one. They're slow, noisy, cramped, but BRILLIANT fun & staggeringly good off road. As u say, the Terios is a lot more refined, good in mud & snow, but no good for any off roading.
A good compromise is the Suzuki Ignis 4Grip.

Hi .they r both really reliable cars but they r made to different customers.
Dahiatsu Terios is a mini suv... it has not got low gear it has a nice engine ( 1.5 L) it can be available with automatic transmission..it looks prettier than the jimny it is more comfortable, safer on road & it runs well on snow..
Jimny instead is a smart vehicle made to reach all the mountain top..it a light ,easy to drive in off road 4x4.
on road it is quite unsafe especially when it is wet.it is really common to skid..
