Two years ago, my dad bought a brand new 2006 silver suzuki aerio sedan AWD, fully loaded.He promised me that when l get my license (about two years from now) he will give me the car.He does a lot of driving.He bought the car in february 2006, and already has 44,000 miles.By the time l get it, will the car be a piece of crap, or still good?

It wo not be a piece of crap as long as he takes care of it (tune ups, schedule maintenance, etc.). And even if the car has some wear and tear on it, be happy, that is not bad for a first car. Some people (me) had to buy their own first car, which was a complete piece of crap.

It should be fine as long as you do all the maintenence and what not on it.

It is still not gonna be super fun to drive.

Yes, this can be a good first car it you take care of it. Use this car and take care of it so when you are ready to get a new one, you will be prepared.

As long as it was maintained and was not abused, it should be in good shape.

It is not bad.
Stick with the car for at least 2 years of driving.
Prove to yourself that you wo not wreck the car.
You will make plenty of mistakes in those 2 years, and hopefully you have not wrecked it.
Then get a new car.

Suzukis are good cars even with 100,000 miles on it, not to worry.
As long your dad takes care of it, it will still be good BUT given from what you told us, it will have alot of miles on it, approximate calculation, 350,000 miles but stil good,
besides, first cars are supposed to junk right.
And hey be happy, my first car in 2004 was a 1989 Civic.Yuck.

Let is see he puts 22,000 miles a year on it so in two years it will have 88,000 miles on it. It has a 10 year/100,000 mile power train warranty. So u will have a 4 year old car with 88,000 miles on it. A used Aerio at the dealer 4 years old r going for over $8,000. So if ur worried about it being a piece of junk l guess u will have to save up over $9,000 to buy something better. In the mean time learn about the car. It has a 155 horsepower dual overhead cam engine. It has no timing belt is was built with a chain. You can run them 5,000 miles between oil changes without a problem. l have an 2004 Aerio with almost 80k miles. l have had no repairs done to it only maintenance. l t runs awesome. As far as the horsepower it weighs almost nothing. l run mine 90 mph as a cruising speed. l have had it over 110mph. The cars r getting popular & performance mods r on the way. To start put a K&N air filter in it & drill some holes in the air box to increase air flow. You will get another 5 hp there. You can swap out the muffler for an aftermarket & claim another 5hp really cheap. Trust me an extra 10 hp in these u can feel. There is not alto else u can do till they start making some performance mods for these without it getting expensive. But for a first car u will really enjoy this car. Keep ur out for the performance mods that should be coming.
