l am almost positive the only govenor u could be speaking of is the 7600 rpm limiter in the 4,5,and 6 gears. This can not be done by disconnecting anything, but if u know anyone who works for a suzuki shop & can connect to the onboard computer to modify the rev limiter on these gears u might be in luck. Just be careful b/c a have known at least 3 people l have done this for who have blown a rod bearing trying to run 5th & 6th gears at 9000 RPMs. Try changing the gearing if u r looking for a higher top speed. Yes it will not be as quick, but u will reach a higher top speed.
