The ''power'' light is on.It always come on when you first start the vehicle but then goes off.Now it stays on.No idea what it means.New battery 1 week ago.

it could be a tripped sensor, or your alterntor is ready to go.

Power light is turned off and on by a push button switch near the shifter. Switch may be bad or you have something hitting/sitting on it.
