Any test drive reports on Maruti Swift Dzire Zxi?

Dude, l have not yet test driven the Dzire but l have test driven the Swift Zxi and Vdi. Both cars did not perform to my expectations. The petrol was underpowered whereas the diesel was noisy. So forget the Dzire.

ya it has good engine but a bad body structure it is not as sporty as swift

Just to answer Subaru S.. l went for a test drive of swift to 2 different showrooms & l felt a difference. At the first showroom, the drive was smooth & there was no noise but at the second showroom, it was noisy. Well, it was because the car at the second showroom was being used for test drive for more than a year whereas at the first, it was hardly 6 months old model. Now that doesnt mean swift will start making noise once it is more than one year old. It depends how one handles it. Those who go for test drives dont handle demo cars nicely.
DZire is good. Go for a test drive urself & maybe at 2-3 different showrooms

Yes, the Maruti Suzuki Swift dZire! It was quite the much awaited car for a long time. l must say it is a big disappointment.

The shape is awkward & the rear is completely out of sync with the front. The rear legroom is the same & the car shares all the driving dynamics of the Swift. Only change is that the ride is a little more balanced thanks to the extra 25kgs added to the rear suspension. Also road noise at the back is reduced due to the presence of a large boot.It still has a harsh edge to it is suspension & the stiffness of the springs helps a great deal in sporty & adventurous driving. The engine is the same. Interiors r the same except the steering wheel which is borrowed from the SX4.

My opinion - Downright ugly styling considering it is a derivative of the sexy Swift. Buy if u have no regard for how ur car looks.

well, it was a pleasure testing this vehicle & will definitely hit a success.
Suzuki Dzire is the improvised version of the swift hatchback & will have wider leg space & more legroom. However the company is planning to cut the length of the boot to save taxes. my test drive report:
the front suspension is same of swift but rear has been modified on spring rates & damping rates which provides smoother & better ride quality. when pushed hard around corners the rear end moves a bit too much needing a touch of corrective steering action. Braking is quite stable & composed. slightly more reclined rear seat is a comfort.
