Yes & Yes. It is a bit heavy at 550 pounds fueled, but very stable. Like all Scooters the automatic transmission makes it very easy to learn to ride. The 650cc engine makes it great for use on the highways & manageable in the city too. The larger size is great if u want to carry a passenger or r on the heavy side. At $7800 it seems like a great buy & the included storage areas always come in handy. I've heard some people replacing their motorcycle with a Scooter, u have all the goodness of a motorcycle minus some of the technical issues that make it hard for a newbie or an older person not looking to work a clutch & gear pedal.
