l have just passed my test and am thinking of buying a suzuki rf600r and would like some opinions from people that know a little more than me on bikes thanks

The best thing to do is see what you like sit on it and if you feel comfortable on it then give it ago you are unable to test drive from a shop unless you have 1 or 2 years bike license.
Think about comfort if you want sport bike then if you do a lot of miles then you can get wrist ache it will come with experience good luck take care

My father-in-law had one of these bikes for a year. His was a 1994 model, which was adequate, but had been poorly maintained. after a lot of work the bike was ok, but he did a lot of mileage so upgraded to a Suzuki Intruder.

The RF is a fun bike for throwing around the corners of B roads, & good performance from standing start but it is not the most comfy for the longest journeys.

Try before u buy. l personally like the Kawasaki Ninja 600. Great performance & reliability.
