KIA is owned by Hyundai and they are pretty nice sporty suv is but l ended up with the Hyundai is Tuscan.
But out of those l would go with the Sportage.
l looked at all the small size suv is from every American and foreign maker.
Like l said ended up with the tuscan 6 cylinder.

Both are really terrible cars, if you buy one no one will respect you your wife will leave you and your children will abandon you.
Buy a german estate car or a volvo

They r both solid small crossovers, I'd also consider for a CRV, Rav4 & Rogue since they cost about the same & rate just as well. Both Kia & Suzuki make quality vehicles, though Hyundai/Kia group sells alot more so parts will be easier to come by for repairs/maintainence, Kia also has a longer warranty & costs about $1000 less. Here is a comparison of the Sportage & Grand Vitara. http://edmunds.com/apps/nvc/edmunds/. The Suzuki has better AWD, while the Kia has better crash ratings & both get subpar gas mileage with V6 & AWD.

Suzuki Grand Vitara ll day long. Vitara is a solid car. It is made in Japan and truly competes against Hondas & Toyotas of the world. Never had a problem with this car. Runs great and lasts forever. Japanese cars are pretty decent. l think Suzuki has been around since 1930s or so and does not seem like they are going anywhere.
