I have a 2003 Suzuki Aerio and it has over 114700 miles on it. How much longer will it last?

Suzuki engines based on my experiences run pretty well. If you maintained it well l think you could push 150k on it. l would think the auto trans would go out first before the engine does. l have had an 03 aerio got it with 24k drove it to 80k withing a year and l havent had any major problems with it.

That is alot of miles in a short time, but if you've been doing all the maintenance you should see 200,000 miles. The transmission should it fail will be your biggest expense and it typically will go before the engine. Well, you were smart to buy a small economical cheap car to drive all those miles instead of a larger vehicle, would not it suck if you had paid $37K for an Acura TL?

change the timing belt if it have not been changed at the 100k mark.
change oil regular and coolant checked.
Trani oil to be changed too

l cant really answer your question because each vehicle will be different some will roll over with no problems some become a nightmare but l can give you this forum where they are talking about your vehicle and slightly your question.

l have a 1998 Suzuki Esteem and it had roughly 184,000 miles on it. Other than quite a bit of engine problems that l believe was due to the previous owner is neglect of it, l think if you've taken good care of yours, than it should last quite a bit longer. l love Suzukis so much that when l went in to have my Esteem repaired, my husband and l ended up driving out of the Suzuki dealership seperately because we bought another Suzuki. They are pretty good cars in my opinion.
