Clutch, Gearbox, Drive shaft, Differential Axles. These are all Drive Trains.

The drive train is just that it is the transmission and if it is not a front wheel drive car the rear end..It has nothing to do with horsepower. Engines are designed to product a certain amount of horsepower without a transmission.

It is the engine, transmission, driveshafts & differentials. Basically it is what all that is needed to make the vehicle move the way it was intended. However, parts of these can fail & make the vehicle make the worst noises ever! Sometimes it just sounds like worn brake pads. The drivetrain is more than ONE part & is necessary for the vehicle to operate correctly. Most people just refer to it as the tranny---but it is not just a tranny. And it is not just the engine. It includes other things. AND..it has NOTHING to do with horsepower. That comes from the size of the engine. The 06 Pontiac GTO is an 8 cylinder, 6.0 that delivers 400 HP. It is the motor that gives the HP. Not the drivetrain.

The dive train consist of the engine,drive axles on front wheel drive cars along with the transverse which is called transmission on rear wheel dive cars. On rear wheel drive cars it is drive shaft and rear end in stead of drive axles. The engine and transmission also on rear wheel drive cars.

but because we are speaking on suzuki, and maybe this is a 4WD car, l have to mention that then Drivetrain also includes transfer system(center differential)
