l am assuming you want it to drive on road rather than needing one because you're a farmer. It is based on the Suzuki Jeep from the mid 80s, and it was terrible then! Sorry, but it is one of the worst vehicles I've ever driven, slow, very bouncy & uncomfortable, almost dangerous handling, you'd have to REALLY want one!!!!
If you want a trendy little city car, try a Mini!

l am from the US, but visited Japan at one time & rented a Keicar/SUV-type vehicle.

The rental dealer had 2 different cars in that class, the 1998 Suzuki Jimny & the 1998 Mitsubishi Pajero Mini.

l test-drove both cars before renting one.

First, the Suzuki Jimny. Had a nice interior & a good after-market stereo system, yet the seats were a little on the hard side. Performance was at most fair. The motor sounds kind of rough at low speeds (0-30mph), yet calmed down at higher speeds (over 35mph). The handling was at most fair, it had lots of body roll & it is poor in bump-absorbsion (The shocks were not good enough to give the Jimny a smooth ride on some bumpy roads). The brakes were reasonable at most on the Jimny, dispite the hard suspention, the Jimny stopped good on flat ground, on the hills though, it was not that great.

The Mitsubishi Pajero Mini had a overall good performance than the Jimny. Handling was great & the ride was smooth & quiet. The engine had a great sound, no matter at low speeds or high. The brakes were good on the Pajero Mini though, yet it was enough to stop at a safe distance. However, the Interior was soft, the looks were not as impressive as the Jimny. The only flaw on the Pajero mini was the OEM stereo system was a little weak.

In comparison of the 2 vehicles, l chose the Mitsubishi Pajero Mini. Time has passed since then, but both cars may be more even in stats now as 2007 models, but if choosing between the 1998 versions, l recommend the Pajero Mini.

Brilliant little car, the chassis is the same as the sj310, so they are far better off road than you'd believe.
Because the running gear was designed to take off road abuse they can be a bit clunky for popping down to the shops but it will last forever.
