i can ride my suzuki sidekick down the road and its like it wont take gas..what can be wrong

and l can stop beside the road and let the gas build up ...and drve on for a minuate and it wont take gas again.... what can really be wrong??

pluged fuel filter or bad fule pump. OR it very well could be a plugged catalitic converter.

It sounds like you have weak fuel pressure. Try to find a way to check it. If it checks out alright pull the fuel line off and spray some in a bottle check for water in the line if there is change your inline fuel filter and run some dry gas. Be carefull when you pull off the fuel line and turn the key if it has enough pressure if will come out and spray to the hood watch your eyes. If all else fails check for dirt in the fuel tank. good luck

Well for one, you are driving a Suzuki. What do you expect? It is junk.

For two, did you bother to see if your fuel injectors were clogged?

What type of transmission is it? When was the last tune up(spark plug, wires, filters changed)?
