Hi, I am looking at the new Suzuki Grand Vitara Prestige model as a family/all purpose vehicle.So far, l have read good things about them but i'm a little concerned about the performance and fuel consumption combination.l have heard that the v6 is not very quick and that it can become quite thirsty.Is this a correct judgement???Also, in terms of towing, it is rated at 1850kg but the max. towball downforce is claimed to be only 85kg.Has this caused towing concerns for anyone???Also, what is the overall quality of the vehicle like -l have never owned a suzuki.Thanks.

i'v owened 2 suzukis a sidekick and an aeiro. both have been execelent cars. the sidekick l traded in for the aeiro last year it had 230000 kms was 10 years old and never had any major repairs.

l own a suzuki and l like it, it hasnt given me no problems, 124K miles on it, but if you have doubts then dont get it, this is an investment make sure you are happy with it

l have the new Grand Vitara. So far it has been great with no problems. l feel that the engine is powerful enough and the gas milaeage is decent, not awesom but not bad. l have not tried to tow with it, but that downforce thing you mention l need to look into. l am thinking about getting a motorcycle carrier.
