l know in the newer models of trackers you can shift on the fly but l do not know about my 1999 5 door ? also the interior light up front has burned out and dealer says it has to go in to be replaced l feelthat the lens will break if l pry any harder there must be a trick !!Hope some one can help me .ThanksJ

As long as you stay in high range with the transfer-case, it is fine.
